Deutschlandstipendium 2025: Award Ceremony with Musical Highlight

 KIT / Robert Fuge

On November 20, 2025, 343 students received this year's Deutschlandstipendium at KIT during a festive ceremony. The scholarship recipients were joined by the sponsoring companies, foundation representatives, and numerous sponsors from the alumni community.

The evening's host, Agnes Honka (Head of Career Service & Alumni), and Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth (Vice President for Transfer and International Affairs) shared in the students' joy.

Before the certificates were awarded, there were exciting interviews with sponsors and a discussion with the Deutschlandstipendium Network, represented by Aleksandar Lubinic and Elisa Dermaku.

The Deutschlandstipendium award ceremony provided an opportunity to honor the scholarship recipients and offered a festive setting for students, sponsors, and the network to connect. The event strengthened the sense of community and left a lasting impression on all those involved.

The musical atmosphere of this special evening was provided by the band Salty Tunes ft. Viola Bommer. Not only did she provide atmospheric background music, but she also thrilled the audience with a brilliant live performance. The culinary highlight was the elegant champagne reception, which featured a variety of fine finger foods, salads, chicken, and cold drinks. Guests could take memorable photos of the great evening at the photo wall.

We would like to congratulate all the scholarship recipients and thank our dedicated sponsors. Their continuous support makes it possible to award so many Germany Scholarships. They contribute to supporting and guiding students throughout their educational journey. In addition to companies and foundations, several hundred alumni contributed to the success of the Germany Scholarship at KIT with their donations this year. Thank you for this impressive commitment!
