Deutschlandstipendium
Equal terms support program
The project is open for funding. Join this initiative today and help shape the future of the next generation. Use the donation form below to donate directly to the Deutschlandstipendium at KIT.
This is what it's all about
The Deutschlandstipendium provides financial support to highly talented and dedicated students at KIT. The scholarship opens new avenues and opportunities in students' everyday lives, enabling them to reach their full potential. The scholarship offers more than just financial support; students also benefit from the knowledge and advice of their sponsors, as well as networking opportunities.
What we achieve
Your donation can significantly impact the academic progress and professional development of our students. Your support can open doors to promising futures and enable students to be selective about their education. By becoming a sponsor, you will support individual career paths and contribute to strengthening KIT as a university and the German educational landscape as a whole.
Further Information
- Public and private funding: The Deutschlandstipendium is financed by public funds and private sponsors. The federal government provides part of the funding and doubles every donation, whether from private individuals, foundations, or companies. The amount donated is not important.
- Extended eligibility criteria: Unlike many other scholarship programs, the Deutschlandstipendium is not awarded solely on the basis of academic performance. Social engagement, personal experiences, and the students' social situation are also taken into account. At Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), a jury decides who receives a scholarship based on these criteria and academic performance.
- Financial Support: The Deutschlandstipendium provides students with 300 euros per month. Funding is usually provided for at least one year, and students can reapply for additional funding. This funding enables students to focus on their studies and pursue their academic goals.
- Networking Opportunities: Scholarship recipients can network with their sponsors, which may open up career prospects and contacts.

"The Alexander Tutsek Foundation awards 55 Deutschlandstipendium Scholarships to talented and committed students at five colleges and universities, regardless of their social background. In addition to academic excellence, personal and social commitment are also selection criteria. This encourages students to become socially involved early on, while pursuing their own careers. Ultimately, this strengthens Germany's position as a center of science and business in the long term and supports young people in their studies. “
