Generous support for young researchers at KIT

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is delighted to announce that it has received significant funding for young scientists. Entrepreneur and KIT alumnus Wolfgang Grenke will provide up to €500,000 annually for scholarships in future years. This generous donation will open up new opportunities for doctoral and postdoctoral students, particularly in the field of entrepreneurship.
The newly created "Wolfgang Grenke Entrepreneurship Scholarships" are now available for application at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Technology Management, and Innovation (EnTechnon) at KIT. The scholarships aim to support young researchers engaged in entrepreneurial thinking and innovation. Wolfgang Grenke, the founder of Grenke Leasing AG and former president of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce, is familiar with the challenges of studying firsthand. In the 1970s, he financed his own education. Those formative years motivate him to support young scientists today.
KIT would like to express its sincere thanks for this extraordinary support!
