The New Science Camps 2026

The 2026 Science Camps kicked off successfully on May 24 with the fully booked Science Camp AI Lab. There, young people learned hands-on how to work with artificial intelligence and implemented their own image recognition projects. Thanks to funding, a total of six Science Camps can be offered this year. The topics range from electrical engineering, climate and the environment to astroparticle physics and futurology in the Futures Lab.
The camps were initiated by TRIANGEL Transfer | Culture | Space and the Center for Technology-Enhanced Learning and are aimed at young people aged 13 to 18. The target is to spark interest in STEM topics, strengthen technical skills, and empower young people to tackle the social and technological challenges of the future with confidence and a focus on solutions.
The Science Camps are a collaboration between the Center for Technology-Enhanced Learning, TRIANGEL | Transfer | Culture | Space, and the Student Academy. They are sponsored by the Karl Schlecht Foundation, the Schroff Foundations, and the KIT Foundation.
