OpenEmboss

The OpenEmboss project aims to develop an affordable, open-source embossing printer for blind individuals. Such printers convert graphic and textual information into a tactile format, but commercially available printers are often too expensive. The project aims to provide an affordable, accessible alternative to facilitate access to important graphic information in schools and universities.

aEPUB-Editor

The aEPUB Editor is software that makes STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) books accessible to blind and visually impaired people. The project involves developing an editor and compatible reading software that can adapt formulas, images, and graphics in a flexible manner and create and read them in an accessible format.
