Shaping the Future Together: Thank you to the Karl Schlecht Foundation for its continued support of the Leadership Talent Academy
Through the Leadership Talent Academy (LTA), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) supports dedicated students and doctoral researchers on their path to becoming responsible leaders. The program focuses on personal development, self-reflection, and the ability to act and make decisions in a values-oriented manner.
Thanks to renewed funding from the Karl Schlecht Foundation, the Leadership Talent Academy can now begin a new cycle and continue to specifically prepare young talents at KIT for leadership responsibilities. The LTA is aimed in particular at undergraduate and doctoral researchers in STEM fields who are about to enter the workforce and wish to engage intensively with their role as future executives. In a program lasting several months, they work together in small groups on topics such as communication, decision-making, collaboration, and leadership ethics. Accompanying coaching sessions and exchanges with experienced experts open up new perspectives and strengthen individual development.
A key strength of the LTA lies in its holistic approach: it complements students’ academic studies with core competencies that are essential for successful and responsible leadership today. This not only fosters self-reflective individuals but also builds a strong network of young talent that endures long after the program concludes.
The Karl Schlecht Foundation has been a reliable partner of the Leadership Talent Academy since its inception. With its renewed commitment, the foundation sustainably strengthens the promotion of values-based leadership and enables the program’s successful development to continue.
KIT extends its sincere thanks for this trust and continued support. You can learn more about the LTA here.
