On May 22, 2026, the KIT Energy Center welcomed 13 research students from Queensland University of Technology (Australia), the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (USA), and the University of Waterloo (Canada). The students from the partner universities are spending three to four months conducting research at KIT. The program is organized by the International Students Office (IStO). The IMPULSE program (International Mobility Program with Partner Universities Leading in Science and Engineering) is funded by the Gips-Schüle Foundation, the Reinhard Frank Foundation, and the Schroff Foundations. On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the “IMPULSE Get Together” scholarship recipient meeting will take place at KIT.
